I use community-engaged methods to explore intersections between reproductive justice, rhetorics of health and medicine, cyberfeminist methodologies, and public rhetorics.

More specifically, I examine how online communities influence women’s healthcare experiences with pregnancy, fertility, and reproductive justice in community and public contexts. I also investigate social perceptions of type 2 diabetes in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia through a grant-funded, university-to-community partnership with Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
